Who we are & where did we come from?

First of all, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Alexandru Stan, and I’m the CEO and Co-founder at Cogneve, INC., the mother company of Tekpon. Being a serial entrepreneur, I developed a passion for tech, startups, innovations, and revolutionary software. These made me see the importance of well-being and love generated by nutrition, sport, and health.

Tekpon Mission

As the company’s CEO, I am the type of guy who inspires others using my personal stories and experiences. I’m open-minded and happy to see other people and companies succeed. That’s where my success comes from! I made it a personal mission to help as many people and companies as possible to grow. What goes around comes around, so they help me as well. From my perspective, you cannot be successful alone but with others.

Where we came from

Before starting Cogneve, I was an affiliate for the iGaming industry, which generated a significant income. But I was sad and felt incomplete. I felt that my job doesn’t bring value to society. Being an affiliate in the iGaming industry implies convincing people to play at the casino.

I’m a people lover, so I decided to change that. I quit this job, and I changed my life. That was when I realized that I’m not particularly eager to work for money but for people to bring real value to their life. How I feel inside my heart reflects what I do for others.

What made us do it

As an entrepreneur with more than ten successful businesses, I realized I was spending a lot on software and tools I don’t use. In contrast, I also discovered some software that changed my life in one way or another. For example, some software is helping me to scale my business.

Others enhance my marketing strategies by helping me create marketing videos or email campaigns. Therefore, I could gain income to pay salaries, taxes, and everything.

On the whole, to also make a profit. Isn’t this amazing?! For this reason, I started to search for crazy people just like me and convinced them to create Cogneve and tekpon.com together. I wanted to help people find the right software and companies to find customers.

Tekpon Values

In my office, I have a canvas with a motivational quote. The text on this picture says: failure, failure, failure, failure… one hundred times, and in the middle of it is: “It only takes one yes for success.” This is a relevant motivational quote because this is how things happen in my life.

I have had bad experiences in business, in love, and with friends. We all did. The important thing is to learn from all this. It makes me understand how strong I am. It taught me how to become a better version of myself, how to be kind, how to avoid problems, how to forgive, and how to help others succeed and find their purpose.

The people I found and convinced to join me are as crazy and passionate about startups, software, innovations, marketing, and well-being as I am. They are making me very happy. I found my tribe, and together we realize something.

We all have had excellent experiences with some companies and not-so-good ones with others. Thus, we decided to be the kind of company with added value, oriented to our customer’s and partners’ happiness. We consider these and many other details when deciding to go there or not. We created this business to ensure that our partners and website visitors are happy with what they find. The articles we make aren’t just for SEO or Google Algorithm. Our focus is to create value.

Value for our partners, our visitors, our clients, and value in general. Of course, we optimize all our generated content, as we know that if we rank well, we will generate traffic and income.

Where is our location

Our first office is in Bucharest, Romania, and we plan to open one in Malta. This is because, even though Bucharest is a lovely city, it isn’t that “international” for business purposes. It’s more oriented toward the family than toward business. Our company is in Silicon Valley because we work closely with other tech startups.

As an international organization, we know it’s essential to know the right people that know the right people. We like to say that we are a European-American company with a global mentality. We love:

From all the experience accumulated over the years, I learned that, in business, relationships are everything. Our relations with our investors are quite different than other startups we know. As a serial entrepreneur, I have had many failures, successes, exits, experiences, memories, and connections. Now, all my focus and energy are on this project.

I’m sure people will love our approach, as everything is done with one crucial question in mind: “Is this the way I want to be treated?” Up to now, we have met many investors and are working just with that type of investor with smart money. They aren’t investing just money. They also help us grow and understand our business.

Furthermore, they love our energy and believe that we have the power to create a more significant and robust organization day by day. We have a community on Facebook (Entrepreneurs and Startups) with 113.000+ members and 15-20.000 active members daily. Through this group, we met some of our partners and potential investors.

But this is not all. We are also helping promising startups to connect with investors, partners, and others.

I realize this article is a lot about me and not about us. This being said, I think you have enough information about me. Now,… who the f**k are we? From this moment on, everything you will read will be a solemn and intellectual article.

I thought you knew me until now. Let me tell you what I see when I look at my team. Because who we are and what each of us does is easily seen from your experience with our website. You can create your opinion.

What I see, going through the personal filter, is this. We are a group of people who work to bring value to society. In all the ways and methods we know or discover. Our CMO is crazy. The CTO, well, is more than that. About our COO, we can say that she is just mad.

The content writers we work with, you guessed it, are all crazy. Our SEO guy is, as well, crazy. Even our cleaning lady is amazing! Investors, partners, and clients are all fantastic. All of them are good people.

Last but not least, we have our CPO (Chief Pet Officer). She is the best of all of us, our beloved dog, a small one. She takes her job seriously and doesn’t even ask for a salary. The only requests are love and food. Sorry, I forgot …and belly rubs.
