Maintain X is now a SaaS Unicorn, Adobe quits the Figma deal, ElastiFlow Raises $3M seed

Probably the best news this week comes from Maintain X, the second Unicorn with a Romanian founder after Uipath

Chris Turlica is the CEO, and they raised $39M led by Bessemer Venture Partners.

San Francisco, June 9, 2021 — MaintainX, the app that helps workers get rid of paperwork and be more productive, just raised an impressive $50 million in funding.

This includes a recent $39 million Series B round led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with contributions from other notable investors, and a previously undisclosed $11 million Series A round in 2019, bringing their total funding to $54 million.

MaintainX simplifies the lives of industrial and frontline workers by replacing traditional clipboards and spreadsheets with digital tools.

With MaintainX, workers can easily manage maintenance tasks and daily operations while maintaining a digital record.

This has led to millions of completed work orders and inspections, less wasted time, improved safety, and a clear view of everything happening across the organization.

Adobe cancels its $20 billion purchase of Figma

Adobe and Figma have mutually terminated their $20 billion merger agreement due to mounting regulatory pressure in the UK and EU.

As a result, Adobe will pay Figma a $1 billion cash reverse termination fee.

The regulators’ concerns about Adobe’s market dominance and the potential stifling of innovation with Figma’s acquisition ultimately led to this decision.

Despite their shared vision for creativity and productivity, both companies have chosen to move forward independently.

ElastiFlow, a network observability solutions leader, has secured $3 million in seed funding led by Venture Guides

This investment will drive ElastiFlow’s growth and innovation in network observability.

ElastiFlow also introduces an innovative adaptation of Elastic Time Series Data Streams (TSDS) to reduce unsampled Flow Data Storage Costs by up to 70%.

This funding will support ElastiFlow’s mission to shape the future of observability.
