The drag-and-drop interface lets users add doors, windows, or other objects from the built-in media library and adjust colors, furniture, materials, and textures. Moreover, users can export floor plans and 3D visualizations into multiple file formats such as JPEG, TIFF, PNG, BMP, and more.
Furthermore, they updated the Room Scanner tool to the latest version to support Apple’s RoomPlan technology. The new Room Scanner makes creating a floor plan even more accessible and faster. To get an accurate 3D model of the room with doors and windows, point your iPhone or iPad at the walls and move the device around. The app measures all dimensions and generates a 2D plan and 3D model of the room for use in other apps. This function is available on LiDAR-enabled devices (requires iOS 16 and iPadOS 16).
