Sahar: “What’s most needed, in my opinion, in sales is connecting with your audience and having empathy. What it comes down to is listening. There are two steps – it’s listening but also hearing. You can listen all day, but are you hearing, and can you solve someone’s problem?

The number one thing that gets people to open up to you is connecting with who they are as human beings and what problems they have. Try to get into their psychology – why are they stressed out? If you could be a business therapist for your prospect, listen to their problems, talk to them about the problems, and build trust, then you have a world of opportunities.

The beautiful thing about that is that it doesn’t take five years of schooling to do. It just takes curiosity, conversation, and caring about human beings at the end of the day. If you can do that, you will become successful.”
