Business analytics software for SaaS companies
Welcome to another insightful episode of the Tekpon SaaS Podcast! Today, we dive deep into business analytics software with Zandra Moore, the CEO and co-founder of Panintelligence. This episode, hosted by Cristian Dina, offers insights and practical advice for SaaS companies leveraging analytics for growth and competitive advantage.
Zandra Moore’s entrepreneurial journey is nothing short of inspiring. Her mother’s involvement in early internet technology in the UK ignited her love for technology. This inspiration led Zandra to pursue a tech career, and after facing the challenging balance of a director-level job and family, she found a new path as a fractional CRO. This role later evolved into her consulting business, culminating in co-founding Panintelligence, an embedded analytics software platform.
Zandra’s primary aim over the next three years is to grow Panintelligence in the North American market, focusing on building the brand, establishing a solid reputation, and expanding its customer base. Her advice to budding founders underscores the necessity of action and a willingness to make mistakes. She explains that testing and finding early traction are critical, as is continually refining the ever-evolving concept of product-market fit—something she considers a CEO’s perpetual obsession.
Panintelligence’s vision is to become the number one provider of embedded analytics for SaaS vendors, aiming to be the default data engine that powers apps and data platforms. Their technology empowers SaaS vendors and technology-led organizations to offer white-label data insights to users, including historical data, real-time visualization, and machine learning predictive analytics. The platform is designed to be “no code, low code,” allowing users to quickly build and easily understand reports, dashboards, and machine learning models.
Reflecting on the company’s formation, Zandra reveals that Panintelligence emerged from a 2014 management buyout from a fintech organization. Initially, the company addressed data querying problems for banking platforms. Over time, the company transitioned to a broader focus, aiding other software vendors and gradually expanding its team from six to 40 employees.
The discussion offers valuable lessons and actionable insights for anyone in the SaaS space, particularly in business analytics and embedded solutions. This episode is a must-listen for those looking to understand how to effectively utilize business analytics in their SaaS companies’ growth and strategic direction.
