Unleash the power of social walls for your brand

Unleash the power of social walls for your brand | Michael Kamleitner - Walls.io

In this episode of the Tekpon SaaS Podcast, host Cristian Dina is joined by Michael Kamleitner, the CEO of Walls.io, to discuss the power of social walls for brands. Walls.io is a content aggregator that pulls in content from social media platforms and stores it in a database, offering a versatile solution for businesses to display user-generated content.

The core functionality of Walls.io’s product is often perceived as better than competitors due to its speed, accuracy, and stability. Customers appreciate the product’s versatility, including different layout options and customization to fit their brand identity. One of the top features is the ability for the audience and customers to contribute content directly to the social wall without using social media platforms.

Michael is also the founder of Swat.io and shares the reasons behind spinning off Walls.io into a separate entity. He explains that managing a mixed business became challenging, and he wanted to focus on one of the two businesses and be a full-time CEO. It became apparent that running both products was not beneficial for him personally or for the companies.

While running multiple companies is possible, it requires strong execution teams and involvement at a strategic level. Michael decided to focus on one business and go deep. In 2021, he started looking for a replacement CEO for Swadio and now has two CEOs, one focusing on sales and growth. Our guest stepped down as CEO at the beginning of 2022 and is satisfied with his decision.

Towards the end of the interview, Kamleitner mentions two SaaS clubs he is a part of SaaS Club Vienna and SaaStock Founder Membership). SaaS Club Vienna is an informal meetup for people in the SaaS business, aiming to have three or four meetups a year. On the other hand, SFM is a program exclusively for founders, connecting them through an online platform, and it organizes a yearly retreat with talks, mentorship, and networking opportunities.

Overall, this episode of the Tekpon SaaS Podcast provides valuable insights into the power of social walls for brands, Walls.io’s journey, product features, industry challenges, and Kamleitner’s involvement in SaaS communities. Listeners will better understand the social wall space and how Walls.io differentiates itself from competitors.
