Social media scheduling with automation super powers and AI
In this insightful episode of the Tekpon SaaS Podcast, hosted by Cristian Dina, the guest is Bilal Ararou, founder and CEO of Nuelink. The discussion revolves around Nuelink’s innovative social media scheduling and automation platform tailored for creators, small businesses, and agencies.
Bilal begins by describing Nuelink as a comprehensive tool that allows users to manage, automate, and analyze their social media activities from a single location. Compared to other players like Buffer and Hootsuite, Nuelink’s standout feature is its sophisticated automation capabilities. It allows users to auto-post content directly from their online stores, blogs, or podcasts using AI to generate posts and utilize product images. This automation extends to various verticals, offering significant time savings—particularly beneficial for solopreneurs and entrepreneurs who juggle multiple business responsibilities.
Bilal explains how Nuelink’s automation benefits podcasters specifically. Users can schedule posts with AI-generated captions that mirror their voice and style by providing a podcast link from platforms like Spotify, YouTube, or Transistor. Nuelink can auto-schedule new podcast posts and recycle existing ones to keep social media feeds active—a feature users have immensely welcomed.
The conversation transitions to the competitive landscape. Despite a crowded market with heavyweights like Hootsuite and Buffer, Nuelink differentiates itself with its automation prowess and rapid feature adoption, such as TikTok support and Facebook and Instagram stories scheduling—something their bigger competitors lack due to their slower innovation cycles.
Nuelink founding story
Bilal shares the company’s origin story, beginning with a web design and development agency founded in 2016. They struggled with maintaining their social media presence, prompting them to build an internal tool to automate posts. This tool’s success in keeping their profiles active despite their busy schedules inspired the creation of Nuelink as a SaaS product. After building an initial landing page and gathering a beta tester waitlist, the team launched Nuelink, receiving positive feedback and ideas for improvement.
Although initially funded by the agency, Nuelink is now nearing breaking even with 20,000 customers and 20-25% monthly growth, indicating a solid product-market fit. Bilal candidly discusses early struggles, such as the fear of launching and social media management, mitigated through pre-launch strategies like building a waitlist. Their lifetime deal campaign, generating $157,000, also provided a significant boost.
Looking ahead, Nuelink aims to grow to $100k MRR and expand with additional tools serving the same market. Planned tools include a separate product for their popular Linking Bio feature and a landing page builder similar to Leadpages. These developments align with their vision to evolve into a $1 billion company from Morocco.
In his closing remarks, Bilal advises founders to validate their products quickly before investing heavily and invites listeners struggling with social media management to try Nuelink. His favorite software tools, aside from Nuelink, are ChatGPT for its multifunctionality as a personal assistant and Balsamiq Mockups for efficient user experience design.
This episode of the Tekpon SaaS Podcast offers a deep dive into Nuelink’s innovative capabilities, providing valuable lessons for entrepreneurs and social media managers.
