It is a tool under constant development that adapted over the years to probably the best version we have so far. Back in 2019, together with the change of name Keap Infusionsoft changed its focus on small businesses. However, we will have to draw an exact conclusion after going through all the chapters of this Keap review. We’ve been surprised by tools before, and after the review, we concluded that they work for companies of all sizes. So, let’s move to the actual Keap review and take a look at the following:
- Features & Integrations
- Overview & Conclusion
To better understand what we are talking about, let’s start the Keap review by understanding what it’s designed for and the differences between the Keap we know today and the format Infusionsoft.
What is Keap?
Keap is a CRM, sales, and marketing tool that helps you automate and optimize your processes. Furthermore, the Keap software will enable you to get more sales by taking over some repetitive tasks such as tracking leads with emails and SMS and setting up appointments for you.
In simpler terms, Keap Infusionsoft is practically a sophisticated email marketing tool with an integrated customer relationship tool( CRM), sales, and marketing automation features.
Is Keap a CRM?
It is a CRM tool but not only. The Keap software is, as mentions above, a sophisticated automation tool that integrates both CRM.
Who uses Keap?
Most of the companies using the Keap software are located in the United States and are in the small to medium-sized businesses spectrum, meaning they have between 10 to 50 employees. Furthermore, Keap has a lifecycle approach toward your customers, therefore, many e-commerce users.
What is the difference between Keap and Infusionsoft?
There is almost no difference between Keap and Infusionsoft. Infusionsoft became Keap back in 2019. Furthermore, the company chooses to focus most of its resources on small and medium-sized companies rather than before. Other than the name change and updates made to the product ever since, no other differences are noticeable. The former Infusionsoft package became the Keap Max Classic package at the same price of $199/month.

Keap Features & Integrations
The Keap software comes with a series o features that are common to all its license plans. The company develops the features they offer in each of the plans according to every organization’s need. The differences between the packages do not lie in the account of contact you can have in your database, set at a standard of 500 contacts to being with but rather in the functionality. Therefore, to keep things easy to understand, we decided to split the features section according to each package.
Keap General Features
All three packages come with a set of 9 default features meant to satisfy most of your expectations from the Saas product. Thus, all the plans include:

What stands out the most from the Keap upcoming features are the features specific to a shopping cart software such as ThriveCart and Paykickstart. Thus, it seems that Keap Infusionsoft plans to penetrate that market and offer 4 in 1 option for its users. That looks interesting, looking strictly at the fact that instead of using 4 tools, one for marketing automation, one for CRM, one for invoicing, and one shopping cart, you will be able to choose to use Keap alone.
Well, at the end of the day, it all depends on the quality and flexibility they will come with, and we are looking forward to testing that out for you guys and give you our input.
Above all, Keap integrated with most of the popular software. Software’ that fall under categories such as e-commerce, connector, landing pages, lead generation, mail, membership, reporting, scheduling, and many more.
Amongst the most popular are software such as Zapier, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Instapage, Gmail, Quickbooks, ThriveCart, Typeform, Workato, and many more. Furthermore, in the upcoming feature, Keap will also integrate with Shopify.
Moreover, Keap software also offers an API integration; however, the feature is limited in the lite plan and can be fully used in all the other pricing plans.
One of the interesting aspects is that there are so many integrations with a tool that Keap will essentially compete with once the new feature update is released. Thus, we’ll have to see what the Keap integration section will look like at that point.
Keap Customer Support
While the software comes with some amazing tutorials and a recommended onboarding program that comes in hand for many non-technical founders, our experience with their chatbot wasn’t the most pleasant one. While trying to find more information about the Keap software, especially about the 30% off for the first 5 months of the subscriptions, we weren’t able to get anything out of the chat boat, which kept insisting on us sharing our contact information or scheduling a meeting. Therefore, and for this reason alone we had to cut some points for their customer service.

Keap Infusionsoft doesn’t offer a freemium version and isn’t that cheapest product out there for its kind. However, it is a software much appreciated by many that focus on the development and help as many small businesses as they can. As their founders say, “they donated a full set of hair to small businesses.”

Considering the versatility and the number of features, we could give endless examples of Keap alternatives, and why not? However, once the new features are released in a couple of months, we should reconsider our alternatives list. Meaning we will probably add some shopping cart software to the alternative list, but don’t worry, I will keep you posted.

In conclusion, Keap is a very versatile software or rather a 3in1 tool that helps you handle your customer relationship aspects, invoicing, and marketing automation, and in the coming future, even some of the shopping cart application.
The formal Infusionsoft comes with many features as a standard option so pay attention to which one of the keap pricing fits your needs. Moreover, the product is oriented towards small and medium-sized businesses, and it could be more obvious.
Therefore, if you are looking for a similar product for a larger company, we recommend looking for a cheaper version or discussing a custom price. In addition, we find the Keap software fairly limited in terms of the number of contacts it allows you to have, especially if we are talking about a trendy online retailer.
